Income-qualified customers can receive enhanced rebates of an additional $200** per qualifying piece of HVAC and water heating equipment and repayment terms of up to 10 years** through our OBRP. See disclaimer at bottom of page.
You may be eligible for the OBRP if:
You are a New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) customer.
You have no more than two 30-day late payments on your NJNG bill in the past 12 months.
Are you converting to natural gas with NJNG? If you are not yet a current NJNG customer, you will need to provide 12 months of utility bills.
You have not declared bankruptcy in the past seven years.

Your application checklist:
Provide a copy of your current government-issued identification (i.e. driver's license).
Provide proof of ownership of the property. If you are a renter, your landlord must submit proof of property ownership and approval of the project.
If you are not yet a current NJNG customer, provide 12 months of your utility bills.

*Terms and conditions apply. All offers are subject to available funding. Maximum OBRP 0% APR financing for eligible NJNG customers is $15,000. All loans are net of NJNG rebates. For example: On a $15,000 repayment with an APR of 0% and a term of 7 years, the customer would have to make 83 payments of $178.58 and one final payment of $177.86. NJNG reserves the right, with approval of the State of New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, to terminate, modify, suspend or extend this rebate program. NJNG rebates and incentives do not apply to new construction. Offer applies to qualifying equipment purchased and installed by December 31, 2024. Rebate applications must be postmarked within 120 days of equipment purchase date. Customer must submit a paid receipt and proof of permit with NJNG application.
